From 1993-97 I moved to Edinburgh attending a part-time course as an associate student in Architectural Glass at Edinburgh College of Art. This was a unique opportunity arranged by Douglas Hogg which introduced me to techniques of working with glass and understanding it's place in architecture.
I also gained significant experience working for Christian Shaw Stained Glass, based in Edinburgh but mainly working on stained glass projects all over Scotland.
I've since sub-contracted to a number of accredited stained glass studios throughout The UK ( Christian Shaw Stained Glass, Goddard + Gibbs, John Hardman Studios, Pendle Stained Glass and Cheshire Stained Glass), assisting major projects from stained glass restoration through to contemporary glass art.
PB Stained Glass is now based in Lostock, Bolton and provides a small professional service in all aspects of stained glass.
